About Buses Civa

Civa is a prominent Peruvian land transportation company that has significantly evolved from its humble beginnings to become one of the leading companies in the sector in the country.

The origins of Civa date back to 1943, when they began transporting fruits and vegetables. It was in 1971 that Miguel Ciccia Vásquez II decided to transform the family business, shifting from freight transportation to passenger transportation.

Over the years, Civa has achieved significant milestones. In 1995, it became the first transportation company in Peru to offer onboard service. In 1997, it earned a Guinness World Record for having the longest bus in the world. Additionally, between 1999 and 2004, it was the official transport provider for the Peruvian national football team during the Copa América.

Civa offers extensive destination coverage throughout Peruvian territory, connecting more than 60 cities along the coast and inland regions. Among the most notable destinations are Abancay, Arequipa, Ayacucho, Bagua, Chiclayo, Cusco, Huaraz, Lambayeque, Moquegua, Piura, Trujillo, Tumbes, Tarapoto, and Máncora.

To meet the diverse needs of its passengers, Civa provides different types of services. Econociva with reclining seats up to 140°, onboard entertainment, restroom facilities, and GPS satellite monitoring; Superciva with double-decker buses featuring seats reclining up to 160° on the first level, air conditioning, onboard meal service, restrooms, and GPS monitoring; Excluciva with luxury buses featuring seats that recline fully to 180°, individual screens, air conditioning, onboard meal service, thermal blankets, and GPS monitoring.

It also offers cargo services for the transportation of packages and parcels nationwide.

Civa has an extensive network of terminals across the country, facilitating passenger access to its services. The main terminals are located in Lima: Terminal Plaza Norte and Terminal Atocongo.

Meanwhile, in Arequipa at Terminal Terrestre de Arequipa, Terrapuerto Arequipa, and Terminal Terrestre Arequipa Norte; in Chiclayo at Terminal Gacela; in Cusco at Terminal Terrestre Cusco; in Tacna at Terminal Terrestre Manuel A. Odría; and in Tarapoto, at Terminal Terrestre Municipal Morales.
