Within the district of Paracas, very close to Pisco, this museum is located in the Paracas National Reserve. It is a space dedicated to the culture of some of Peru’s most important ancient civilizations. This site is recognized for its exhibitions showcasing advanced textile techniques, ceramics, and funerary practices of pre-Hispanic civilizations. The museum is named after a Peruvian archaeologist who discovered the Paracas Necropolis and made significant contributions to the study of this pre-Inca culture.
